Seriously, I was thinking the same thing.

Where the duck is our offense? 12 minutes gone and we have 10 points? Pro rate that over 40 and we're heading for 33 points for the game.

Is it just me or do we always start out like an old car that needs to warm up for 10 minutes?

Ten points, 13 minutes.

It's like watching a team that has never been coached or played together before. The Jim Calhoun offensive system is bewildering at times. I mean, a position some short time ago was nothing more than a couple of lazy back and forth perimeter passes and then Shabazz taking his man with the clock running down and heaving up an ugly covered jumper.
Before that, it was Lamb trying to do the same thing only to charge in desperation.

This is against ND no less, not notorious as a defensive juggernaut.

I'm hoping that the first 10 minutes was JC forcing the dump-down with the intent of undergoing pain now for long-term gain.

Part of the issue is that this teams plays such a slow methodical half court style - I feel like this year's team belongs in the Big Ten.

was just going to post the same thing... we've somehow turned into wisconsin, but with no ball movement, player movement, or screening. It's one of three guards dribbling around passing to another guard who is forced to go one on one. It is baffling as to the strategy if you just watch what the other 4 guys on the court are doing on any half court possession. It's just bizarre.

Awful offensive execution. When Drummond takes a turnaround fadeaway from 12 feet, it is essentially a turnover. Really poor judgment for JLamb on the charge. I wish he had never made that dunk against Columbia because that is the 4th or 5th time he has made an ill-advised charge and I said before that I worry about him getting hurt on that play...why not pull up and shoot the ten footer or make a floater...makes zero sense.
Then while Shabazz is dribbling, no one seems to know where they should cut and who should screen....really? After 20 games the players don't know what to do on offense?

My daughter's 10 year old rec team league runs better half court sets than this team. It's unwatchable.
