$10 Per Ticket!

Yesterday's JI has an ad that says you can purchase tickets for the women's games in November and December for $10 per person per game. Apparently there is no restriction on any game. Call 800-745-3000 or go through UConnHuskies.com. Among the games during that period are Stanford on November 21 and Texas A&M on December 6.

OT: the men's games can be purchased for $15 a piece....I don't think there are any headliners coming in for those months.

Finally! Too late for us former locals, but a great sign. The athletic department had seemed to lose complete touch with the financial realities facing many fans, and topped it off by being a little, shall we say, arrogant, too. Much better.
