I think UNC is a rising concern in the region.

I'll have to pull for Bama. They've been feisty and it was good to see them breakout a bit. Would also be better sign for the other SEC in tournament.

Will we get our first "upset" on day 2?

The women's committee is clearly superior to the men's when it comes to seeding:rolleyes:

I’m not even sure who Jordan Lewis is but she’s killing it for Alabama. 26 pts mid-third

She’s been like that since High School. Very talented young lady.

Bama’s big 3 are a colossal pain in the ?. Should be fun to see them up against the Terps.

Jordan Lewis always gave SC fits. Seems like she always have her best games against SC.

Watts and J. Lewis both with enormous games.

On the opposite end, Deja Kelly of Duncanville had a nightmare 1-13 game for UNC. I do think she'll vindicate herself in future NCAA tournaments but this one has to hurt.

Trivia question: When was the last time Kristy Curry won a game in the NCAA Tournament? Her career was trending in the wrong direction for a very long time.

My guess would be when she was with Purdue. That must have been more than 15 years ago.

Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner! If I ever need to phone a friend on WBB @LETTERL will be my choice.

It was exactly 15 years ago (2006) when she led Purdue to a Sweet 16. After that she bolted for Lubbock, where her crowning achievement over the next 7 seasons was two first-round NCAA exits in 2011 and 2013, a feat so impressive that Alabama hired her 8 years ago.
