Those garbage buy games have such bad attendance. I want to vomit.

There is a plan in place right now to raise season ticket prices. When they rolled out the last one it was over a few years which hasn’t passed yet. But if you are saying that they may raise season ticket prices on top of the already planned raises then yes I agree there would be a backlash
I think the 3 year plan in place is to increase seat donations. There was also a comment that season ticket prices could also increase, but that was not publicly mapped out. Of course, sellouts and a good season will make that almost a certainty.

The size of Gampel also hurts us in this metric. We’re automatically playing from behind.

I think we sell out most remaining games though. The Butler (NFL playoffs, bad team) and Marquette games (not an attractive opponent persay, midweek @ XL) will probably be at 90% full.
You can bank the sellouts. Only game where you can still sit with a friend is Marquette, and those are running out.
I bought two tix yesterday for my son and I for the Marquette game on 2/7. Sec. 202, Row S for $49/pc. (fees included) on the secondary market. Anything closer was significantly more expensive. There were very few together on the UConn website with closer than the last few rows.

Could more tix be made available in the week leading up to the game? Sure, but according to the UConn ticket office, it's basically a sellout as we speak, more than a month out.

This is the answer. Early in the season, the buy games are such a high percentage of the games played. The full season average will always be higher than some random point midway through the season.
