It will be interesting to see if South Carolina has figured it out. Team...not individuals win games. The talent is there but it has to mesh. It hasn't so far in the way it did last year. It's still early.

This is a common problem in cases where the names of two large state schools are differentiated only by the word "State" appended to one of them. Which is a pretty nonsensical differentiator, if you think about it, when the non-"State" school is still a public (state) school

It's ultimately a problem of branding differentiation. Maybe change the name to, say, Wolfpack State?

The big difference is that Iowa State is not clogging up the lane like NC State did on Thursday, allowing the Gamecocks to run their offense and looking more like the South Carolina we were expecting.

Iowa State is showing the same one-dimensionality that sank them against South Dakota State: their only potent offensive threat is Joens, and their traditionally deadly 3-point shooting has been MIA (1-8 so far in this game).

Kristin Scott and others must step up if ISU is to have any success this season. Joens can't do it all.

Like seeing Destiny Littleton getting extensive minutes out there. Her offense hasn’t arrived yet but she seems to have a proclivity accruing rebounds.

Iowa St is one dimentional Joens and shes really good. Iowa St couldnt make an open shot and they had plenty of them. SC looked good. Still missing a point guard to lead them however they did have alot of asssits. Against a top team with good guards SC may have a problem.
