I was looking at Michigan today, their frontline is 6’9” 240 6’9” 240 and a 7’2 guy. I was wondering how the heck would we match up with that. They are good players as well.

Kittles ran riot … a month earlier Uconn had won. Kittles still had 25 or 30 in that one.

Problem was a couple of days later was a terrible performance against Georgetown.. Othella Harrington killed us in one of what felt like 12 years of his college career.

I was just going to say the same thing. Michigan is repeatedly beating good teams by 40 and scoring 100 points every game. Their stars are transfers with several years experience.

It never looked bad, it was just (yet another) missed opportunity for the non-UConn portion of the Big East.

Purdue continues to be Purdue. Iowa St. has a little more offense than past teams- with that- don’t think they are a national title threat type of team.

Duke & Michigan St. was a solid college game- Scheyer continues to impress me- went to a 3-2 zone the last 10 minutes or so & changed the entire game- Scheyer continues to be very good defensive coach. I thought the smaller Boozer would’ve taken over point guard responsibilities by now- that is a major issue for them. Duke for the last 3 years has been a point guard away from cutting down the nets- looks like they have a similar issue this year.

Michigan has a suffocating defense & has a major advantage on the boards. The last two weeks their guards have been shooting lights out- we will see if that continues- the beginning of the season they almost lost to some mid-level teams- turnovers & shooting was not as good. Definitely are a title contender- will be interesting to see if their guards can play at a championship level when it matters.
