I don't dislike Louisville, but kind of a shame for Wake Forest.

Evans came up big after struggling early.

12-24 for Wake on the FT's. Two of the best FT shooters in the ACC missed 5 ft's combined.. that was the game.

Obviously lucky to win today. As others have said on various posts, FT shooting this season is crazy.

Best player on the court made the plays to win it, but don't overlook the contributions from Konno and Balogun.

Hailey Van Lith played like a freshman today. She did make that tough shot in traffic near the end.

I'll take the #1 ranking but it doesn't mean much, especially this crazy season.

If Louisville has a message board, are the Louisville fans blasting the team for letting Wake play them so closely? Are they blasting their star player because she missed more shots than she made? If not, they are better than some of UConn fans.

No blasting at all on the two boards that I frequent. Lots of relief that the team overall played a poor game and still won, recognition that WF's poor free throw shooting gifted us the win, and of course kudos to Evans.

Not saying that fans on those boards haven't blasted players in the past........
