Rolling with the Ville for this one.

Much is made about Evans and Van Lith this season, and rightly so, but I’ve been so impressed by freshman forward Olivia Cochran. She’s physical, crafty, and highly impactful as a starter for the #1 team in the country. I’m not sure she’ll be in the ACC FOY convo (Westbeld of ND may take it, and Cochran would be challenged with another star freshman on her team in Hailey Van Lith), but she’s got a very bright future ahead of her.

I agree 100%. Cardinals have great guards, but if they are to make a deep tourney run Cochran and Dixon will have to continue to play at a high level with rebounding and interior defense.

I was just thinking about starting a post about there is no #1 team this year. Nobody is rising to hold that title. I mean somebody has to be ranked #1 each week, but I just don't see any team this year that has that look of clearly being the best. I guess we can blame it all on covid, but this just seems to be a really down year overall.

No kidding. Evans 4-15, Hailey Van Lith 1-6, K. Smith 0-5. But hey Robinson is 1-1, maybe they should be running their offense thru her.
