0-15 | The Boneyard

0-15

What happens is shots are taken, some OK attempts, others not so much, and the ball fails to fall and drop down inside the hoop. UConn won.

This may be an anomaly but this program needs a pure shooter
I don't care if the kid is an elite athlete, just give us a pure shooter

We haven't had one of those in 7 years.

Neils Giffey shot over 50% from 3. I think at one point his percentage was one of the highest in the nation. Then again he only really shot when he was wide open.

Exactly why I said 7 years. I think I miscalculated tho. Eight.

This may provide some answers, from Mike Anthony's article today:

"Allen attended a ribbon-cutting Saturday afternoon for the shiny new Hall of Champions in the Werth Center, which houses practice gyms. He noted the silence.

'One of the best feelings in the world is to hear basketballs bouncing when you walk through a building like this,' Allen said. 'I don't hear any bouncing right now, and that's something that I will probably address in the next day or so.'"

Damn.

How many second chance points on those missed 3s? Don't know the answer, just curious.
