It is amazing to watch the number of put back dunks by Sticks where he isn't even in the screen when the shot hits the rim.

He would literally come out of nowhere to put his nuts on other player's shoulders.
 
Ajax is the only guy I think I’ve seen that comes close to Sticks in athleticism — absolute legend. That’s terrific that Demarcus shared that story.

It would be amazing to see the school do some kind of NIL jersey for his family. He deserves some commemoration, and I’d love to hear ideas.

Ajax was a gazelle. Stix was more of a vertical athlete. Both great in their own right

I attended the Papa John's Bowl way back when in Birmingham. I remember being impressed by the large drafts for short money. During one of my visits to the stand, the softspoken young woman pouring the beer whispered to me she was rooting for UConn. "Really, why?" "I'm a friend of Stanley" "Awesome! He's great!" We were both smiling when I left.
