I came across a comment online that resolved the matter in a very diplomatic manner. This commenter suggested that Flau'jae could get a defensive stop and steal; she'd then find JuJu for the outlet. JuJu would drive, but get double-teamed. JuJu would then find Azzi open in the corner and get the assist as Azzi swishes a three.

Clearly the top two are speaking hypothetically about game situations...and they each think that they would be
the best in critical situations....and just as clearly they think the other one is wrong.

My suggestion is that they are both wrong...that Paige would be the best one to decide where the ball goes to get the best outcome for that team. That might be one of the two....but other possibilities exist...and Paige's decision-making is where I would have the most trust.

So: player one...it is not obvious.
Player two....yes...we do live in a world that you think doesn't exist.

Sounds great, except that in reality JuJu would not stop and pull off of a Double-Team thing at the basket. She would charge right into the defenders seeking to get fouled, and after hearing a whistle would heave up a floater for the potential 'and-one'.

Lately, my husband and I have been quoting "The Race" quite a bit because we have three teenagers, two of whom are involved in cross country—and only one of whom seems to be enjoying it. The phrase, "I choose not to run!" is getting regular use lately.
