Hate it. HAAAAAATE IT. Such a fake old school tough guy don’t shoot your fancy three pointers on my lawn thing to say.

I absolutely love the initial play and the timing of it (we managed two more great looks).

I don’t love holding for a final three in that instance and think we played it out perfect.

A quick two is the worst.

Go for a quick two scenarios:
A. You miss, other team rebounds hits two free throws. Now down 5 with a bunch of time off the clock. DO YOU STILL JUST NEED A QUICK TWO DOWN FIVE WITH 15 seconds left????

B. You hit the layup. Other team hits two free throws and you’re back at square one, again, with less time.

Your logic is weak.

1. Creighton shot 57% from the FT line last night. Maybe there's a third option.
2. Why would there be a bunch of time off the clock if they went for a "quick 2"?
3. Option "a" is the same if you miss a three and they rebound.

We're playing to win so I'm assuming we take and make, not miss. Going for 3 you gain 2 points in two possessions. More if they miss FT's.
