I say this as someone who was dead set against the terms that ND proposed for the series that never happened. And hindsight being 20/20, I was dead wrong.
I don't get this. You think Delaney and the B1G presidents are going to say "well we'd love to add UConn but they scheduled a 2 for 1 with Ole Miss"? Complete nonsense. If you want big time schools to come to the Rent you're gonna have to accept the reality of the AAC. Sure we'll get the...
So you advocate that Warde shut down any talks with Auburn, Florida, Ohio St, etc. if they insist on 2 for 1 deals? Because "we are UConn". Do I have that right?
Not familiar with many courses up that way but if you're looking for a playable course that's not too long and lets you spray it a bit at a reasonable price I'd recommend Timberlin in Berlin. It's right about 30 miles or so from Southbury. Restaurant on site as well.
You're thinking of the old Mill Stone Country Club, which was bulldozed to make way for Great River. GR has only been open for less than 15 years but sits on the site of the former Mill Stone track. In its last years of operation the course deteriorated past the point of being salvaged. I...
Yes we were that bad. Villanova was a much better football team than us last year. I know you hate to hear that and may not admit it, but it's the absolute truth.
You and Spackler can keep your eyes closed and wish away the reality of where this team is right now, but it doesn't wash away what's transpired the last 4 years. The roster is not built for a rebound year in 2015. It's just not. Talk to me in 2016 and if the results don't show in the win...
I haven't played there since college (a long time ago). It was fine for what we needed back then as poor college kids. Keep in mind we drank like kings with a case of Natty Light for $6.99.
Twin Hills and the Skunk were our 2 go to courses while at UConn.
I hate Great River. It's overrated and the price tag is salt in the wounds. There is no level of class that justifies the price tag.
Well if you believe in fairytales like Bigfoot, God, and the Loch Ness Monster I guess you'd have to include Midnight Mary in the Evergreen Cemetary in New Haven. Some silly hocus pocus about bad things happening to people who visit her grave or something.
I think 3 is right around the number give or take a game. I'm not looking for miracles this year. What you want to see in 2015 is progress both on the field and on the sideline.
I think we can all agree that Diaco handled the whole QB situation about as poorly as possible. Whatever you want to believe, fine. But the lesser of 2 evils is that Diaco was lying. Because if he was telling the truth about Boyle being injured, he'd be incompetent at best and negligent at...
