I used to work with one of the assistants for Mass Rivals. When Jalen committed he told me we got a natural born winner. It must be hard for him to see all the success his HS peers like Donovan Mitchell have achieved.
Bezos is sneaky. The other new thing is they only offer for you to buy new releases. So if you want to see something right when it comes out you have to pay $15-$20 or wait another month to rent it.
Bandersnatch: Interesting concept. Kinda makes you wonder why it hasn't been done yet. Basically a choose your own adventure. The story line isn't amazing, but plays into the experience. Worth it for the experience.

Did Yakwe fake an injury to get medical redshirt for next year? Is that possible? I kid, I kid. But no really? Is that because they realized we're not getting Kofi or Wahab?
??
Its always "the next few games will be telling." ; ) Sort of like "in 20 mins".
Seriously though, Villanova told us we're not going to the tourney, USF told us the AAC will be a struggle, and UCF told us we're on the verge of a dumpster fire. If we don't get a W in the next few games...
Problem is we have no true SF's on this team. I was hoping Sid could come into this role, but he's nowhere near ready yet. Polley is much too slow. Give me a Giffey right now.
We were good when Cobb was getting double-doubles. For whatever reason that is gone now. He was the only hope for the front court. When he was relegated to the bench he lost all semblance of looking like he new what the hell is going on out there. Lost motivation, confidence or connection...
We did (sort of). Our shooter / SF is in New Mexico. Enoch, Diarra and Yakwe are physically solid and Durham is a rim protector. Disgruntlement and injuries plagued us. However all teams face these setbacks.
Two biggest plusses for me today:
1. Polley's rebounding - He can do it! I was really critical of him, but he had a few nice boards today with much improved positioning. Credit where credit is due, When's he's slump shooting he has to do that. Unfortunately, rebounding wasn't the problem...
The problem I have is we were definitely better. We played competitive in the losses against FSU and Arizona. Ever since halftime against Villa its been a regression. Only 2 1/2 games and UCF is a good team, but it feels like we're sliding badly. Next few games will be telling.
Have you seen him in Mandy yet? I thought he did pretty good and was a nice little respite from the crapfest factory he's been pumping out. Caution though that the movie is cracked out and not for everyone. High on the wierdometer but intriguing if you're into that style. Not for the faint...
