I hope he is lighting the league on fire. I'm sick of UConn being screwed whether it's CR or by the AAC. People are so worried about bad optics while they watch our athletic department burn to the ground.
My mother is in Ft. Lauderdale. Aunt and uncle in Punta Gorda. Few downed trees with minimal damage. Never lost power (either of them). This was not the beast they were predicting. After sending Memphis back home and now this the level of incompetence at UCF is unbelievable.
Fortunately for...
How about the men's soccer team who traveled back from Creighton yesterday? They're staying in ATL until it's safe to return.
I usually agree with you on most things but when you go off the reservation you go full stupid.
The fact that USF felt perfectly fine sending their women's golf and tennis teams away for the weekend should make you only admit one of 2 things:
USF cancelled purely for football reasons
Or
USF doesn't give a damn about the safety of the women's golf and tennis teams.
Pick one.
Cuse and Rutty lose at home to mid majors. BC gets destroyed by ACC bottom dweller. Diaco's defense getting destroyed.
Kinda makes up for what would've been a beautiful day at the Rent.
You took the time to research (I bet it took longer than 5 minutes) Bonehead's posting history to prove his statement (which he was clearly being facetious) false. Wow what a loser.
*This post made in good faith.
LOL please. If the soccer community blackballed the Rent over this I'd support the move even more. But I think this is a tad overdramatic. You want your soccer more than UConn football. We get it.
Offset it with the money the USF game would bring in. Even if the state takes a minor hit in the deal, they should put UConn football over some dopey team from NY from a dopey league playing a dopey sport. Nothing is big time about soccer in the US. Especially the MLS.
It's MLS soccer for the love of Jesus. Clowns would rather spend a Saturday afternoon watching communist kickball than UConn football. Nothing screams big time quite like that.
There is the real world and then there is the self righteous Boneyard.
It pains me to be on the same side of an argument as @Chief00 and @freescooter but here I am. It's clear as day what went into this decision. It wasn't so that players can be with their families. If I see that one more time...
