Easy now. Hurley played the season to get as many W's as he could. Which he did in the regular season, just not in the tourney. If they didn't lay a big fat egg against Teddy Allen it would've been a different story. They just weren't good enough / gelled enough to get all the pups time...
5 star PG Skyy Clark who was a Kentucky lean is now getting crystal balls for Illinois. Is the transfer market now impacting the recruiting scene? Curbelo gone, maybe Ramy to Kentucky?
I haven't lived there in about 10 years, but the sports bar chain with good beer was Taco Mac. Oddly enough. Downtown in general was lame, but the best Taco Mac was located there. If my memory serves me correctly.
The patio at Brewhouse Cafe on a nice day for the World Cup was one of my...
Here's a philosophical dilemma. If you knew UNC had a 75% chance of beating Duke and St. Peter's a 25% chance, would you still root for St. Peter's to beat UNC?
I'm amazed how good offensively Jermaine Samuels developed over his tenure. He was really rough around the edges his first two seasons. I remember the UConn crystal balls we used to get.
Duke playing two bigs was just way too much for Arkansas. They dominated the paint and Jaylin Williams...
I think I'm going to be sick if its an all blue blood F4. If St Peter's doesn't win, the only other option is 3 ACC teams. Which may even be worse.
St. Peter's is our only hope. Otherwise the darkside prevails.
Seriously? Why are you posting about this if you don't even follow college basketball? There's a site called espn.com where you can find scores yourself.
How do you think the committee compares conferences?
The SEC/Big 12 challenge took place 1/29/22.
Uh, they beat Villanova, UNC & Texas OOC. They also beat MSU who beat us. You guys have some weird takes. There's plenty of teams you can bash their regular season play, but Purdue isn't one of them.
Purdue choked. Rupert had a miracle first half. Ivey was a ghost. Stefanovich was hot from 3 early then the team basically missed their next 15 3's. Edey didn't play much for some reason. Trevion missed a handful of bunnies. They turned it over way too much. There was a Sanogo-esque foul...
Imagine alternating Sanogo and Carlton? Haha, I'm playing devil's advocate. But look at Michigan playing Dickinson and Diabate, two bigs isn't completely dead yet.
It's crazy, they also lost to Providence by 14 early in the season. I'm pretty sure I lost bets for Monmouth to beat them twice. They turned it up late in the season.
But just look at Rupert. He averaged 4.3 this season, yet scored 11 in the first half against Edey and Williams. What the heck?
