I won’t buy anything but IPA’s and DIPA’s from Treehouse ever again. I tried their stout (That’s What She Said), Lights On, and Old Man. They were ok, but it was nothing you couldn’t pull off the shelf at a package store. If you like stouts Counterweight makes a great one called Void.

In my opinion there’s a big difference between a great stout and IPA to justify the cost difference. But lagers, pilsners, porters, etc show much less of variance in quality.
