Kolek is known to be shifty like Steve Nash. So at times when he just goes, it works because the defender is expecting a shifty move. Reverse psychology basically. He's also really good at using his body and angles to create space.
Yeah, was feeling really good until that game. Wrong Indiana showed up. Penn St burned me a couple weeks ago on a big bet collapsing at home against Rutgers, so I haven't been betting them, but they're hot now.
I don't think there was any combination I would've done without KU and UVA too...
Well, I think everyone was concerned as it became close down the stretch. We just didn't have many close game opportunities this year. Here's the fact, without a set play, no one is great at breaking down the defender one-on-one from the perimeter to get to the rim. Newton is the best at it...
I like Purdue without Sensabaugh and Key. Freshman Thornton isn't running another miracle.
Mizzou playin so tough yesterday scares me. Brown is legit. Alabama is beyond the distractions I think.
Can Vandy do to A&M what they did to Kentucky? Even without Robbins. My money is on Taylor IV...
And why is that?
1. Because we were clearly only trying to get open for a 3.
2. Sanogo was isolated one on one in the post.
3. We didn't take a TO to call out a play in the last possession.
4. Driving lanes were open because everyone but Sanogo was on the perimeter. We just don't have anyone...
I'm not a fan of taking 2 threes to try to win the game down by 2. All we needed was an easy bucket to tie and go to overtime. Unfortunately no one can drive to the lane for an easy layup. I probably would have gone to Sanogo. But they insisted on taking a three. Oh well.
Ended up Seton Hall cost me a few grand in winnings. I had them in a few big parlays and they were the only team which lost. I was concerned about no Kadary, but thought they'd still get it done. No steak dinner for Joe.
Well, we beat Providence at home by 18 and we're hot and their not. Yet, I still tread lightly. MSG is more home to us, but I think I'll leave us out of parlays and take us for a luke warm bet.
The only thing I can rationalize is that they thought breaking routine would be admission of guilt? Perhaps a terrible PR decision. I just can't even comprehend it being an oversight. Even the walk-on shoulda been like, "Wait a second....." Its almost comical (if not terribly tragic).
I've got to hand it to Miller though, even if he truly didn't know about the gun, scoring 40 first game after being involved in a murder is some true ice water in one's veins.
The outrage is due to the culmination of events and the compounding the pat down did. Its completely rational. Your "apologize and move on" is like "thoughts and prayers" after a school shooting. Your defense of the ritual is ignoring the larger implications.
Ok, I'll concede that it may have been routine, but STILL, how does the university not go into emergency protocol and cancel any suggestive mannerism? Especially after the backlash from Oats' insensitive presser and not suspending Miller at all. Just a really, really bad look after all that's...
