When Castle was coming out of high school he played mostly below the rim. He was a good athlete was more known for his positional size, passing, smooth play. Now he’s one of the better players above the rim in the league. I wonder what he did in the gym off the court.

Everyone is criticizing this kid but you almost have to almost respect what he’s doing, right? He scores a quick 20+ at a remarkably efficient clip, without ever passing the ball, before he pulls himself from the games.

Unnerving that Danny hasn’t given some kind of coach k type answer about sticking with the program for the foreseeable future no matter what opens. I suspect he just wants to use it as leverage in future contract negotiations. But I also think he will make the jump when he’s 60+.
Literally a practice body.
I don’t think Coach Hurley agreed w the scholarship extension. It’s hard to fill out a 15 man team. You have to find 3-4 kids that are willing to come in and be a practice bodies, take no money while their teammates make 6-7 figures. It ruins the dynamic.
Interested to hear from people who attend all the games. I attended pretty much every home game from 2004-2015, but moved out of state so I’ve only seen a handful of games at Gampel the last 10 years.
