2026 Recruiting: Dylan Mingo Official Visit this weekend!

Mingo plays both crafty and athletic, what could be better? Right off the rip reminds me of how Tristen Newton plays. On this level he finds the spaces, the room to drive or shoot, and he uses that wingspan length well.

2026 Recruiting: Dylan Mingo Official Visit this weekend!

AS we know Malachi Smith is outta here next year, and maybe Solo too, maybe Mullins also, Demary will test the waters. There is a lot of movement there. Mingo could play with any of the aforementioned players and be a huge part of next year's backcourt.

    Likeliest OOC Loss?

Good call on Reed. The difference maybe between a championship and just being really good.

    That's a cool hat.

Solid. Coach Kimani talking it up.

    New Commit: Uroš Paunović (Merged)

I love getting top players to come to UConn. In the spirit of caring for the well-being of the existing players on the roster though, there is a legitimate concern for some of the ripple effects on playing time and opportunity which I understand because I have some of that too. At the same time...

2025 Recruiting: New Commit: Rrezon Elezay

Dude, I love this post. Prompted by humor or seriousness, I'm not sure, but either way. Rrezon is definitely a player that needs to develop, but he is 7'2, has hops, good feet, good hands, some timing on blocks, a nice stroke at the foul line, and he is just 18. Now he is in one of the best...

Uros has game and he's 22. It looks like we just added some serious depth to our backcourt.

Looks like Abraham is in line to start at Georgetown.

How do you even know all this stuff ?

Looks like Abraham is in line to start at Georgetown.

Just to add a couple things here on both Ross and Furphy. Ross has been guarding Solo for going on three years now which surely is an advantage defensively, but props for being athletic enough to shut Solo down, and on another note, Furphy is not your everyday freshman based on his talent and...

Looks like Abraham is in line to start at Georgetown.

Just to piggyback sort of on your post, I do think that as a general practice this season, Hurley will be making more of an effort to decrease the minutes his primary five or six players are playing. By the game a few minutes less, each player across the board, spread out over the season, will...

Storrs Central: Jacob Furphy FIBA U19 World Cup Film Review

I think Furphy will play. His 43% 3 point shooting, his ability to facilitate, get his own shot, his physicality and toughness, just his on-court IQ , all of this gives the staff the flexibility to mix him with any number of lineups.

    Scout Team: Silas Demary Jr

I read some stuff a ways back from the coaching staff, I think it was Hurley. Plain and simple, Mahaney started because he was one of the better players coming out of the summer sessions, he was on a good trajectory. Then the season started, he had some matchups where he got smoked, getting beat...
