Dawn was most definitely yelling at the refs last year, in addition to dropping F-bombs. We just didn’t have Geno telling us what she was saying, because he didn’t care when his team was up 30+.

One of Geno’s specific complaints last night was that Dawn was intimidating the refs’ “using language that would get him thrown out of the game.” So why no complaints last year?

Last year when Dawn was firing off F-bombs as UConn destroyed SC, I don’t remember Geno saying anything about it, and I certainly don’t remember anyone on the BY calling for her to apologize. In fact, as I recall, the BY thoroughly enjoyed Dawn’s frustrated profanity.

I doubt it. But I would not doubt that he received feedback from his coaches, family, friends. DT was at the game. She is certainly not afraid to push back against Geno, in her own loving way.

Kind of hard to believe Geno doesn’t curse at refs considering he had no problem cursing on national tv when Holly Rowe was interviewing him last night.

I haven’t been a defender of Geno on this until now. We all make mistakes. There is never a wrong time to do the right thing. I applaud Geno for making things right.
