It’s funny. The 2nd round guys play hard because they make more money in college. The top guys can slack because they know they will get multiple NBA contracts if they are good enough. That’s the bet.

When people have wives they do. Mine never goes to the games. I negotiated to take her out Friday and to the game Saturday but she is a reasonable person. (ultimately she was sick yesterday so I had to give the tickets up but at least my seats were filled)

Candle has been a strong recruiter. With more resources I assume that will hold. Next year is probably a rebuild with all of the changes but I imagine he can get us to a bowl. That’s all I’m expecting at this stage.

My sister’s company does business with Wasabi. They were thrilled with the turnout last year and lobbied hard for us this year. From what I hear they are very happy. Tough beat but was kind of expected given the players we had. Still had a good time. My expectations were realistic.

I have a partial package for the Sox so I'm used to it by now. Bought 6 - that's all they would allow.

Would like a better opponent but that's my only complaint.

I'm happy with it. Always love a weekend in Boston and not having to fly makes the logistics a lot easier. Had a ton of fun last year and will do so this year also!!

No plane ticket though :)
