Candle has been a strong recruiter. With more resources I assume that will hold. Next year is probably a rebuild with all of the changes but I imagine he can get us to a bowl. That’s all I’m expecting at this stage.

My sister’s company does business with Wasabi. They were thrilled with the turnout last year and lobbied hard for us this year. From what I hear they are very happy. Tough beat but was kind of expected given the players we had. Still had a good time. My expectations were realistic.

I have a partial package for the Sox so I'm used to it by now. Bought 6 - that's all they would allow.

Would like a better opponent but that's my only complaint.

I'm happy with it. Always love a weekend in Boston and not having to fly makes the logistics a lot easier. Had a ton of fun last year and will do so this year also!!

I guess I expected better given that we were at a UCONN game and we were winning and they were UCONN fans. Naive.

There is a point of time in life where your living situation matters more than the money (when you have enough). Obviously he reached that point.

They need to project the right path forward since they are asking us to renew our tickets by next Wednesday. I’m not at risk but I’m sure there are many that are now in the fence.

Here is the thing. Part of why I waited a week to post about it - to let me cool off. I get why it happens. But also - there is a "barrier" around it, and if someone asks you politely to move your drink just do it. Had I not gotten cursed out (twice) I wouldn't have even mentioned it here...

The first guy was probably around 30. The 2nd guy was in his 60s (which is way worse given that he probably understood the significance of the memorial).

I would understand it if I yelled or cursed at them. But I didn’t. So the responses were way out of line IMHO. But I don’t care about that really. I have thick skin. It is more about getting people not to do it. It is disrespectful.

There is a barrier around it. People ignore it.
