It depends. As an SU grad I can tell you first hand that the Newhouse School and Maxwell are top tier with an excellent ROI. Would not spend the money there or any where for an Arts and Sciences degree.
Can he get enough nil to compete. That is at least half the battle these days. Just look at the tournament again

Almost everyone goes through peaks and valleys. I know there were several close wins and some losses. Alot has to do with the league understanding what CT is trying to do.
At the worse UCONN would have fallen to a three. Two seems right to me. The twos can all beat any of the ones. UCONN and Duke both not playing with full rosters makes them a little more vulnerable but I think they are the class of the East.
I thought they deserved at the worse a three. I know there are several good team but a five. They finished first in the BE and won the conference tourney. They have a great coach. There are not 16 better teams.
That and a world class facility are advantages but money trumps all. Head coach is a crazy job. Drove icons out early, Bennett, Wight, guys who could get any job they want, are great coaches, not old men and who want no part of the new system.
