Well, I hope we're in the pool for another QB. Osborne looked good in Toledo's bowl game but as far as I know that was his only college start. Behind him we have a QB with very little experience coming off an injury and a true frosh. Need some more experience at that position.
Agree, the emergence of Mullins seems to have thrown Solo off a little. His 3's seem to be rushed and forced. I'd like to see him start games by getting some points going to the basket and then take 3's within the flow of the offense.
It may be time to start Mullins. Roles are starting to be defined, but I don't think his role is clear yet. Is he a starter? instant offense off the bench? I kind of wish we had a couple more cupcake games to work him into the offensive flow.
Not a totally crazy idea. I don't follow Syracuse football much, but as I recall he had a few good seasons his first 2 or 3 years. they slid this year after their QB got hurt. He's known as a good recruiter, and I believe he's from the northeast.
I would love to hire the JMU coach, but I think he may be looking for a bigger opportunity. A young up and coming offensive minded coach would be nice, but at this point in our development I think we need a big name. Part of the attraction of UConn to kids was the Mora name and his NFL connections.
Our D was so bad that on our last score, I believe it was first and goal with about 30 seconds left. I was actually thinking we should snap it and take a knee and use some more clock before punching it in. was I crazy to think about doing that?
