It has been pointed out that players can participate in multiple senior days so, even if she honored, doesn’t mean she is leaving.

Geno said Blanca is playing at Villanova on his radio show. Later, when discussing Sunday’s Senior Day, Bob Joyce said ICE was being honored on Senior Day this Sunday. If true, that would suggest she is leaving, which would be news.

Was thinking the same thing....how funny it is to see Candace talk UConn. By the way, she is totally right, you don't have to like everyone. On her podcast, she did agree with A. Boston that Sarah is the best player in the country.

Ineluctability is futile

Only worry, is Blanca may be falling behind in the rotation assessments. Where is she going to get her minutes? Injuries, even minor ones at the beginning of the season can really set some players back.

Say what you want about the Italian league, but she was going up against WNBA players nearly every game. She had one came where she outplayed Dorka. Blocked her shots and drove past her on offense. Blanca does need time to adapt and adjust to the American game. She'll get there.

Candace is paying Kaleena Addidas money. She may not steer her to Knoxville, but you can't convince me that the car is facing toward Storrs. However, what a baller move that would be, taking Candace's money and coming to CT anyway, lol. Perhaps, I am jaded, I just can't see it.
