    Sarah Strong is just Ridiculous

So how will she match up with the past UConn greats as time goes on? I always have liked Stewie as the best, separating herself from the others because of her defensive skills. But Sarah is quite the defensive force, so maybe......

    Most underrated player

Of course, everyone loves watching the way Shade goes at the game. What bothers me about her game is the lack of improvement, at least looking at her game statistically. She hits wide open 3's, but beyond that really struggles offensively. She had one of the better frosh years, but I just don't...

    Gandy

Blah! Blah! Blah! Give her a freakin' minute now and then. What's the big deal? Fans would cheer for her. And better yet, so would her teammates.

Throwback uniforms to honor Sue today

Read that Geno commented that other players had worn #10. Anyone remember a player wearing that number?

How revenue sharing is affecting the schedule

One of my college baseball teammates, back in the 50's, was a beneficiary of revenue sharing. When we went south on our spring trip to Virginia and the Carolinas, he was given gas money to drive his car down, with a few other players in the car with him.

How revenue sharing is affecting the schedule

We are rooting for professionals now. Of course, some are "more" professional than others.

Big East player of the week - not a Husky

Why? I'll be rooting for Moore, and hope to see many more good players in the conference.

    UConn-Xavier postgame thread

Sooo.. I guess we know that Heckel is the better player than Kelis Fisher because she has shown that in practice. Right? Or she gets the minutes because she has a year of experience. That might be it? I realize that we don't see Kelis necessarily against opponents best players, but she looks to...

    2025 WNBA Off-Season

Watched that SC, Texas game, and Okot is rather impressive. Especially since she's only been playing the game since 2020. 6'6", really moves well, and she is young for that much size . She will still only be 21 years old when she graduates. I see her becoming a very effective player in the W.

    Concerned About KK

Stefanie was not predominantly down low, Kia never an offensive threat, Olivia really has developed in the WNBA, Tameka 6'2" more a power forward.

    Concerned About KK

Two type players UConn has been very poor at developing over the seasons: effective down low posts( only Tina), and players taking it to the rim. Oh, there have been occasional attackers( Renee, Tiff), but in general not what the offense has ever emphasized. Back at it this year with rather...

    Michigan Postgame Thread

Can't play Strong, Fudd and KK 40 minutes and not expect a drop-off in defensive intensity. Coaches everywhere know how to give their best players a blow now and then. Why is that such a challenge for UConn coaches? And not the first time UConn has struggled against a zone. You'll probably see...

The pump fake, dribble drive, travel

I think what you describe, involving the pivot foot, is what I see happening. And it's not called
