    Why Azzi Fudd Deserves Grace

I'll admit that she does seem focused most of the time on the defensive side. Her offensive performance ,though, is clearly better against stronger teams. She is satisfied to let her teammates carry the load against the Big East. Anyone would be bored with the level of competition in the Big...

    Why Azzi Fudd Deserves Grace

Not sure what you mean by specifics. I'm merely saying that when they're playing a strong opponent is when she focuses, and plays her best. Her stats certainly show that. People here have wondered about her game, her shooting, at times, and I just think that if it's not a competitive game she...

    Why Azzi Fudd Deserves Grace

She performs when necessary. The rest of the time she's bored. She'll be lights out in the tournament. Lest we forget, she was the 1st hs sophomore to be Gatorade National Player of the Year. The injuries have slowed her down considerably. She's just going to keep getting better and better now.

I don't support that belief , either. It's just that I would expect Boneyarders, in general, to be more sophisticated fans, who are able to watch games in a bit less biased manner. So much for that. Thanks for your usual thoughtful comment.

Sorry, what Agree, that many grabbing fouls occur in those situations. What Azzi did was basically push Pauldo down to the floor. Easy call, but they didn't see it. Happens all the time, for both teams. If you're one of those who see UConn not getting calls, why do you think that's happening,?

C'mon, OD, yesterday's game is not my point. You can't really think that the UConn fans are less biased than, say, the Tennessee fans when it comes to officiating. Do you think that the UConn players generally are picked on by the refs? If so, how come?

You might take an unbiased look at what UConn is getting away with at times.

Well, I feel the same way you do about the officiating. I see them missing calls both ways. For example, twice yesterday I saw, in replays, Azzi getting away with shoving a Tennessee player during scrums that led to a jump ball. But the Boneyard, in general, somehow sees UConn as always getting...

I have wondered for a long time why it is that the refs seem to favor UConn's opponents, at least according to the Boneyard.

Videos: Maya and Katie Lou hit 10 3pt shots

Gotta say that I forgot what a great 3 point shooter Maya was, perhaps because of everything else she did. Most of these shots in the video she got off very quickly , and many were contested. Really, has there been a better player at UConn? I think people should watch her again in action. So...

    Charlie Creme Interview on Uconn

Paige was a good defender, but this is a much better defensive team, every night. Which they will need in the tourney, since they may not be as good offensively without Paige. And not just because of her scoring, but the effect she had on everybody else's game.

Sarah Strong - Her March to Mt Rushmore

Hardly, since the " Congress" never accomplishes anything. Oh, and when considering accomplishments keep in mind the level of competition each player faced. The Big East was a whole lot tougher conference at one time. Not sure how the numbers of those players who played in the AAC and recent Big...

    Ayanna shoutout

I'd forgotten that Ayanna was so highly ranked(#5) in high school, dunked with both hands, and even forgot about her eye. Such courage, such determination. With her background it's understandable why she would be able to do things on the court, even though not playing for 2 years. Don't know the...
