No I'm one of those fans who despises the gambling mentality in the seeding process. Point spreads come from gamblers. You can see how that has stripped sportsmanship from competition. It is most prevalent in College football.

Nevertheless beating #4 is a feather. And Texas beat SC by 2 then lost to them by only 3. Lost to LSU by only 5. No small feat. I'm fairly impressed.

If Haylen Ayers is serious about both BBall and Softball I would think every one of the other schools on her final list would get the nod over UCONN. I never heard of that combination before. If she just concentrates on hoops then it's totally different.

How weird is it after all the years of excellence to see Notre Dame and Stanford women playing and NEITHER of them is ranked?

We definitely missed her speed and athleticism today although we recovered well . She may have had a bunch of turnovers though. Hopefully the shoulder thing resolves with some rest.
