You can’t base anything on that game. The ball hogs charge up and down the court like their hairs on fire. A much better measure of her value was last year when ESPN televised international players vs the USA. She was the youngest and one of the best players in the game.
That's right Nan, Shea and Svet were the vets on that team and I really doubt they would have lost with them.
And Shea got hurt in the Sue Bird "at the buzzzer" game of the BE Champiionship. Svet was already out.
Plus the fact that these refs are actually calling fouls. This is just irritating to see. We should have killed these guys. We just had a collective horrible offensive performance.
Let's face it, nothing short of being boiled in oil will suffice for punishment for the jealous haters. I don't thank you for your disinterest in UCONN basketball.
That's baloney. It's the first time he's ever done it. And it was done in the spirit of protecting his players. He would never have mentioned the handshake thing had he not been fired up about the foul disparity. You know what really counts in the portal - $$$$$
Well Madison Booker is 3-23 tonight. So I guess by the reasoning on display by many here Vic must have been "Outcoached".
By the way the fouls are nearly even in this game and we have a close game. How about that?
I'm so happy for Shea and obviously everyone at UCONN is too. Geno is past longing for this award anyway, but I will say this - If Dawn Staley had an undefeated season going she would win that award. I have no doubt.
These games are WAY more physical than regular season games. As long as that is the case physicality is the great equalizer. The same thing happened in the WNBA playoffs. They let them play rough and the scoring goes down. No way around it.
