Allie was fine but Patterson has missed SO much game time it's going to be a while before she's anywhere near top form. Healthy is one thing but being out of action for so long is a real issue.
I agree with you. I’m really souring on the pro game. It’s no longer about basketball skills. The strongest and most aggressive are being rewarded. It’s more like the old roller derby. Not fun anymore.
Funny what happens when the refs treat Wilson like everybody else. I'm sure the officials will get their marching orders and this will be corrected for the next game.
She's immune to foul calls so that sure helps. She set about 7 moving screens last night. As usual she ends up with "0" fouls. It's a joke. She a great player and doesn't need the help or the bonus double digit points at the line.
NO other WNBA players routinely get double digit FT's nearly every game, nor do the moving screens get ignored like Wilson. I don't know how many more in that game last night. Quite a few by my eye. She leans her hip out and keeps moving in nearly every screen she sets. She also routinely gets...
And ONLY the second player to EVER get to the 50/40/90 plateau besides EDD. Pheesa got hosed by their selection of a player who routinely gets double digit points at the line while refs ignore her constant setting of moving screens. I can't stand the enormous favoritism she gets from the refs...
Sky announced during the game she is ruled out with back injury. But she was not on any pre-game injury report and the Sky coach said before the game he expected her to play. 10-1 she’s refusing to play. Don’t even see her on the bench.
No need for in depth analysis this soon. Obviously the experienced players will get the majority of the minutes early on and others will integrate according to their skills but especially by their ability to learn and show effort in practice. Among the newcomers it's impossible to predict this.
