Knowing one branch of the Penders family personally I can say nothing but a class act. This from parents down to the children and on to the grand kids. It is truly a family with a very educated and caring base passed on to the next generation.

There was a good amount of talk ~1984 about Tom Penders as the best candidate to replace Perno (who for whatever reasons we kept as head coach) but I don't think it was any more than that.
