Frankly, all of those stats are impressive. For the most part, they focus on assists, and low TO numbers - and, the funny thing is, those are numbers that the national "media", and local media, rarely focus on. It's all scoring, followed by rebounds and blocks.

Yet, if you want to measure a team's performance, high assists and low TO's are a wunnerful combination. It shows that a team simply knows what to do with the daggone ball.

How about
KML is the 5th leading scorer.
Hartley (anyone really) has a 4.3 A/TO ratio
Tierney is avg. 4.0 ppg
As a team < 10 TOs a game.
Dolson avg double digit rebounds (10.0 presently)
With the new foul calling emphasis and our very short bench, no one has fouled out yet

All unanticipateable. I'll add:
7 players shooting over 50%, including 4 over 55%

BTW, unless I've made an egregious error in posting numbers, the team has 106 TO in 10 games, not less than 100.

Most surprising to me in order:
1. Kiah coming good on offense
2. BB already into her stride - I really expected more lingering affects from her injury through at least December.
3. Chong looking more comfortable early than I expected.
4. Stef's rebounds - didn't expect her to average double figures.
5 Stewarts assists.

I expected the assists to be high and the A/TO to be very good, maybe not quite this good but ...
I expected Bria to be very good and she is.
I expected MoJeff to be very good and she is.

Did not expect KML and Tuck to be out :(. But do expect them back very soon :).

Gotta go with the freshman not making freshman mistakes. But Geno did clue us in that we might expect that.

From the Fuller blog:

STREAKING HUSKIES
With UConn going on two 14-0 runs and another 22-0 burst, it got me to wondering how many times the Huskies have ripped off 10 or 20 straight points in a game this season. So I spent some time going through the box scores of the 10 games and the answer is a staggering 18 double-digit runs.

31-0 St. Bonaventure
23-0 Monmouth
22-0 Boston University/UC Davis
21-0 Boston University
19-0 Oregon
18-0 Hartford
16-0 Monmouth
14-0 UC Davis (2)
13-0 Oregon
12-0 Penn State/Monmouth
11-0 Oregon/Boston University/St. Bonaventure/Ohio State
10-0 Oregon

That's impressive.

Especially when you consider that the media will tout a 9-2 run or some other stretch where the other team scores some. Stretches with literally zero are quite impressive.

(Am I reading right that there were FOUR double digit stretches against OR?)

Let me toss in a most unusual off-court team stat. I believe that the parents of three current players plus one committed recruit are bi-racial. It is a tribute to the program and the fan base that this has not drawn any notice until this complimentary post. I call it Progress.

I put other. The most surprising stat is the number of games KML has played. As in only 2. I was shocked at her freak injury. But this was meant to be a pleasant thread so I would have voted other wise regarding Saniya. I mean I knew she was good. 2 NPOY awards coming out of HS. But I thought she'd be a roll player reserve - the kind of freshman you see moments of great potential followed by utter confusion. Instead, I see a kid who, if you had no idea who the players were, you wouldn't be able to pick out as the "freshman".

These lost games may well cost KML the NCAA record for 3s.
