Says who?
Sounds like you might be saying he's not. Not knowing better, I'd be interested in hearing more. I'm probably not the only one, and not challenging you so much as expressing genuine curiosity.

Says who?

Reports have his pay at 6 million. Is that wrong? I really don't follow coaching salaries.

Pitino is reported at 20 over 6 years.

Hurley is 32 over six.

Not sure on others and don't have time to look.

Salaries were not and are not disclosed at Georgetown. Anyone who says otherwise is dealing in clickbait.

The only way salaries are disclosed is through the IRS Form 990 which won't be released until the report is filed sometime next summer.

That said, Georgetown continues to overspend on men's basketball relative to performance. Men's basketball consumes 30 percent of a $47 million athletic budget, of which only eight of 30 sports are fully funded.

Per reliable sources:
Pitino 7.7 Million per year
Cooley 6 Million per year
Hurley 5.25 Million per year( what a bargain)
The point stands: there are no reliable sources speaking for Georgetown University.

Suposedly he's making $6 million this year. I will wait for the IRS Form 990 if that's what you want.

What coach in the Big East is making more? I still say that he's way overpaid. What has he ever done?

Here's a list of the highest paid college basketball coaches. Do you see anyone in the Big East making more?

I think Hurley's new deal doesn't kick in until next year. He's making about $3 million for this season.

Neither team played any defense.
Yeah but they never hustled back on defense in the 2nd half. That is on the coach for not getting his players playin harder. Xaver was getting layups on fast breaks almost every play. LOL!

Marquette at St. John’s. This one tells a lot about what St. John’s could be. They need to step up at home.

Early in Creighton @ Hall, the Jays still look a bit shaky. It's 15-14 Jays but they've missed bunnies and failed to box out multiple times.

Seton Hall and Creighton good match so far. Who are we rooting for? SH win would make one of our losses look even better. Creighton win would help UConn win the regular season.

St. John's Garden home floor is looking loud. Why do they have a huge Mustang painted on center court?

Kalkbrenner must have read what I wrote about him the other day. Dominant so far.

But outside of him, Seton Hall really out physical-ing Creighton as expected.

I'm at the Garden for the Johnies game vs Marquette.

Good game so far. They are pulling progressively better crowds. Good to see for them and for the league. In my eyes there should be about 15k people here. There is probably only like 50 marquette fans which is surprising for a team with a large following

We need Georgetown and DePaul to do better to pick up their own attendances!

Thats been a really great battle so far.
Kalkbrenner might end up with 20 points and 10 blocks today. Seton Hall keeps coming right at him and he's been up to the task so far. He's really neutralizing the Seton Hall attack.

But just got dunked on and-1 lmao. Looked almost like a jump ball block that went in.

Marquette is ferocious defensively. They have active hands and collapse very effectively on bigs (10 TOs for SJU). St. John's has adjusted and with lead.
Plus, Marquette has been inept from the arc. O fer.
