Every flaw that was predicted before the season has come out in very obvious fashion the last two games. We were hot for a couple big games in the early season, now regressing to what everyone expected. Could be a Sweet 16 team if things come together for the end of the year, though

The roster is great. It’s Hurley’s in game coaching that is costing us.

Four games in a row and he hasn’t changed one thing
What is there to change, exactly? He can't make the guys become good at driving or shooting

Not a top 15 team. Got on a roll vs. low major and top-50 to 75 teams early while teams were still figuring themselves out. It’s as if teams always have the plan on how to beat UConn but we never have the plan on how to beat them or counter their plan.

It’s not. We don’t have bucket getters when the times get tough. Hawkins needs to run off 4 screens to get open because he can’t create for himself. None of our guards are at all effective in the half court.

Agree flawed at a couple of positions (PG and 4) At the end of the day (season), where are we? Are we a top 15-20 team? Better? Worse?

How about not playing Karaban when he gets abused on the defensive end? For one. And two. Playing Clingan as long as Clingan can stay on the floor. Three. Screaming at the guard for ball watching on defense

Those for starters.

We don’t have a gritty PG that can shoot. And our coach is running the exact same offensive sets/gameplan since Game 1.

Any coach with a brain can shut it down w/ enough tape. Hell, even Patrick Ewing almost did.

I'm ready for the overreactions on the 'yard.

We made adjustments on offense today, just couldn't hit shots. We got Clingan his minutes which was a BIG step in the right direction.

Defensively, I don't understand the lack of adjustment on guys that are going off on us. Hurley's done this for 5 years and hasn't gotten better at it. It was obvious since before tip-off that Karaban was going to get smoked by Hopkins. You can't throw your talented freshman in the fire like that and kill their confidence. Jackson needed to be on him as soon as he started going off.

Hurley said pregame Hopkins was going to be a tough matchup for Karaban, which everyone knew would be a mismatch and then he stuck to that matchup for most of the game and let him drop 27. I don’t get it.

I mean he made a pretty big change in playing Sanogo and Clingan together, and it wasn't even bad like I expected. The offense has just taken about 10 steps back
Agreed. That was good. But I pointed out a few other things. IMO our defense has gotten worse. We aren’t getting the Calls on offense and it’s allowing other teams to manhandle our guards

Biggest flaw is thinking they can run offense through Sanogo.

BE coaches know how to collapse on him.

Also, if you heard the in game mic of Cooley during TO teams know to shut down Hawk on perimeter and make others beat you.

He was specifically referring to in-game adjustments. Idk how many adjustments there are to be made if none of our guards can even dream of dribbling by a Big East defender
Gotcha. I agree. Sorry for the confusion.

Our defense at the 4 has been absolutely exposed. We can’t get stops in multiple possessions and it causes early fouls.

Sanogo has been quite frankly, terrible.

We can’t penetrate from the perimeter without Jackson.

Role players have been non existent last few games.

FTs differential has been the main problem.

We’ve looked soft and beta on the road

We can't worry about our "number". Gotta fix what's wrong. Hurley has to come up with the fixes and work out who needs to sit more.
