Currently 1st in the AL in BA at .318, .002 ahead of second place.
Currently 1st in the AL in HR with 45, 1 ahead of second place.
Currently T-3rd in the AL in RBI with 103, 4 behind first place.
(Also, 1st in hits with 171, 4 ahead of 2nd place)
(Is there such a thing as a quadruple crown?)

Mid-September, about 2 weeks to go/18 games left, can he get the triple (or even quadruple crown if he maintains hits)? Lets see a nice hot streak right about now!
On a good, solid Toronto team (81-63, second in the AL EAST, first in WC standings), is he the AL MVP?

Of note: Before THIS season, he only played in 183 games...!

Special year kid can hit no doubt. Jays have a shot to get to the WS with Springer back now too tough lineup. JR should be the MVP as well.

Just got hit for AL MVP at +1100 on DraftKings. I know ohtani is considered the favorite but that seems wildly underpriced. If he does get the triple crown (imo 2 of 3 is good enough too) and the Jays make a wild card spot idk how he doesn’t get Most VALUABLE Player.
