Umass is a 6 pt dog to a number 11 seed that already had to play two days ago. We were a 5.5 pt fav to a number 10 seed. And the ncaa wants to say they got seeding right...

Think it was a coincidence that UMass-Tennessee was supposed to play ACC favorites the Dookies & the 6 seed UMass was dramatically under-seeded?
Well, it wasn't but it didn't quite work out the way the ACC-loving committee wanted in that case!

The NCAA screwed up the seeding really bad this year. We were a 7 and Duke was a 3 with identical records. Louisville was a 4 despite being one of the favorites to win it all. UMass was seeded higher than UConn. The list goes on and on...

Well 2 five seeds have lost already and one trails at the half. We face a good Villanova team who in reality is no better than some of the 4's we would have faced.

I like our path, so it's fine this year.
But looking long term, if we are going to beat the likes of the number one overall seed and scores of ranked teams, and get rewarded with a 7 just because we play in the American, our 2 might not be as weak as Nova. It's gonna be an issue long-term.

Kellogg is a doofus. UMass was not remotely ready for the pressure of an NCAA tournament game and got dumptrucked by a mediocre bubble team.

Kellogg had the luxury of 5th years and seniors……they will be gone. They will be mid major success wise again immediately…..his players had no one to turn to and looked like whiney little babies out there and he allowed it. Davis was stomping his feet every mistake……it was awful. He's a good guy, local WMass guy but he's limited as a coach and so is the UMass as a program!
