What the heck kind of shot was that for Crystal Dangerfield. She's seriously air balled a three point shot earlier that we were lucky that the Bruins fouled on so as not to lose possession and then this last second horrific shot.

Freshman mind freeze. Previous defensive possession Geno had to yell at her to cover her man

Sometimes I think Landers looks pleased when the Huskies aren't doing that great...lol

For all the fancy pass the Crystal Dangerfield makes sometimes, she dribbles too much and seems to like to play 1-1 a lot, very un-Uconn like.

Canada looked good in the first few minutes but since then, not much. I'm stunned to see that she's credited with 7 assists.

I think UCLA's speed threw off the ladies early on. Canada is actually a very good player.

I'd grade UConn's team coordination as a B-, when going by their own lofty standards. I'll take a 17 point lead in a B- game.

Napheesa played poorly in the first few minutes but has looked really good since. Meanwhile Gabby has done so many great things to help ignite the Huskies surge from midway through the first quarter to build this impressive lead. KLS has been pretty solid though she had a couple of silly turnovers midway through the 2nd quarter and Saniya has played well. Kia Nurse has continued to shoot very well, particularly from the perimeter. They've turned a seemingly poised UCLA team of the first few minutes into a team that's askew since then. Outside of some sensational three point shooting in the latter part of the 2nd quarter, they are struggling mightily.

Between missed free throws, crazy long rebounds, and a few bad shot selections, UConn could be up by 30. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

UCLA can't hit inside the arc and UConn is matching them (actually 1 more) from 3.

A lot of the time the extra dribbles create passing angle for baskets that were not there without the dribbling, but yes she's still a freshman and over dribbles at times... or ends up forcing a wild shoot like we got at the end of the 2nd quarter.

What the hell is Kara talking about that Billings is on Gabby's level? Umm sorry Kara, I love your analysis but thats a HARD NO, on that...
Athletically she's pretty good but skill wise, not close. The reality is not so much. Gabby has evolved into an amazing player and her hustle and energy make her sooooooo dangerous to any opponent. We are so lucky to have her and the big three along with two other very solid and capable young ladies.

Why would Lou's dad fly all the way to Bradley? He could have taken a flight into LGA and then an hour car ride to Bridgeport or even the train.

With a limited bench, she can get away with that and still be on the court but that certainly is very un-Huskie like
