UConn Hosts Houston For Three on April 15-17
>>Riding a three-game win streak, the UConn baseball team continues American Athletic Conference play when it hosts No. 30 Houston at J.O. Christian Field in a three-game series on April 15-17. The Huskies and Cougars will begin the weekend with a 3 p.m. tilt on Friday before a 1 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 12 p.m. series finale on Sunday. All three contests will be broadcasted on WHUS.org, 91.7 FM.<<

>>The Cougars, who checked in at No. 30 in the most recent NCBWA poll, enter the weekend with a 20-6 overall record and a three-game win streak. The team is 4-4 on the road during the 2016 campaign.<<

Preview: Baseball Travels to UConn for American Series

SERIES HISTORY
Houston and UConn have met seven previous times with the first meeting dating back to the 2014 season.

The Cougars are 6-1 all-time vs. the Huskies with back-to-back seasons of sweeps – both on the road in Storrs, Conn. and at home in Houston.

The lone loss for Houston came in the 2014 American Athletic Conference Championship.

Houston swept the series the last time it was in Storrs, Conn. back in 2014.
