>>On a season-best six-game winning streak, the UConn baseball team rounds out regular-season action with a three-game series at USF on May 19-21. The Huskies and Bulls kick off action at USF Baseball Stadium on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. before a 6:30 p.m. Friday match-up and a 1 p.m. Saturday finale. All three contests will be broadcasted on WHUS.org, 91.7 FM.

With a victory over URI on Tuesday at J.O. Christian Field, the Huskies secured their second-straight 30-win season. Since Husky skipper Jim Penders arrived to the UConn campus in 2004, the team has reached the 30-win plateau in 10 of 13 seasons.<<

Well, the game has slowed up in the top of the 4th. 3 run homer for DeRoche-Duffin makes it 3-0 UConn with Huskies still at bat.

Excellent performance but tomorrow evening's pitching matchup is the least favorable of the entire series. Monstrous two games coming up, usf had little chance to win this game anyway and they will be spitting blood.
