Here is a pre-game treat of funny, odd or weird stats.
1. Paige is the leading shot blocker with 22 rejections. Liya is 2nd, but with only 15.
2. KK has taken 54 free throws while Ashlynn, Q and Nika have taken 39 combined.
3. Among active players, Nika is currently the 2nd leading offensive rebounder with 18. Liya is #1 at 46.
4. Q is hitting 35% of her 63 threes, but only 38.5% of her 13 free throws.
5. Aaliyah, Ines and Amari are all 0-3 from three point range. (But Amari is 100% from free throw line on 4 tries.)
6. Nika has 123 assists & only 48 turnovers. A/To ratio of 2.56. Paige is even better at 2.96 (77 vs 26).
7. UConn is averaging 84 points per game, but have not scored exactly 84 points once this season. (In the last six games the Huskies have scored 83 twice and 85 twice.)
8. KK has the most steals at 48, but Paige is 2nd most larcenous at 46. Aaliyah has more steals (27) than Nika (22).
