I should be getting the fall semester bill anytime, so knowing UConn they want payment upfront for room and board they may never deliver. Unless there is a massive shift in federal priorities, there is no way that testing and contact tracing will be sufficient for any mass gatherings of people in the coming months.

they returned some of the spring semester. So not sure why they wouldn’t be doing that if it Happens for the fall.

Yes, we got a credit that they will immediately apply to the next bill. Which will definitely eat the credit plus in additional costs.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
That's exactly what the president of the college my son is going to said in a Zoom call with parents. Their plan is to be open in the fall, with some additional precautions, unless things dictate that they can't open. Some of the precautions they mentioned are to stagger dining hall hours so that there wouldn't be as many students in the dining hall, retrofitting all doors so they are touchless to open, etc.
