Early season schedule is going to be tough. Potential games against UNC (6) Wisconsin (9) or Oregon (5) and Syracuse (19).

Cuse game isn't potential - it's 12/5 at MSG ;)

But yeah, gonna be a lot of tests early on.

I feel like a broken record here, but that first game against Oklahoma State is absolutely a must-win.

The difference between
0-1, a scrimmage against Chaminade, and a game against mediocre Georgetown/Tennessee
vs.
1-0, with chances at 2 Top 10 scalps in UNC and Oregon/Wisconsin
is enormous.

Min (1-2) to max (3-0), that's probably a 6 seed line difference, with that first game accounting for 2-3 seed lines on its own.

A loss in that first game also means we face probably 1 ranked opponent all year and likely limits us to a #3/4 seed at best unless we run the table in conference play.

Just imagine, what would 2011 have looked like if we lost to Wichita State?

I have to echo Tenspro, there's a chance we don't play a single ranked team if we lose to Oklahoma St. Syracuse and Cincy will teeter on the top 25 all year, me thinks.

That's a scary thought, but just shows you the reality of living in the AAC.
