USA Women play Italy at 10:10 and Egypt at 2:30 Eastern. Italy won both of their games yesterday and are tied with Team USA for the lead in their pool.

USA Beat Italy 18-5 and that just about guarantees they'll win their Pool. Next play Egypt at 2:30

Anigwe is probably the best big in class of 2015 (by a long shot) with Shepard being hurt now. If she were class of 2016 she would probably be 4th best behind Cox, Holmes & McCoy.

Quarter Finals Start Tomorrow

USA Lost to Argentina yesterday 20-18 They play Spain 8:30 if they don't win, won't make the quarter finals.

The top 4 teams in each bracket make the knockout stage so USA men will make it into the next round as they have three wins already.
I am interested about the new ball - smaller than standard and seems pretty bouncy on the rim.
FYI - the earlier rounds are all available as streaming video so you can go back and watch the earlier games.

USA Men lose to Spain 15-13 in OT. USA should have won this game if they had continued to play team ball. Instead they jacked up bad shots and had silly turn overs. In OT, USA went for two point baskets instead of working for good shots.

USA Beat Poland in a Tough Match Up 15-12. For a while it looked like an easy USA Win, then Poland mounted a comeback but never took a lead. USA Would be in serious trouble if not for Arika Ogunbowale. She's USA's leading scorer

3 1/2 MINUTES left in the game USA Women Leading 7-5. Not a great game by Team USA so far

USA Women Beat Belgium 11-7 and are now in the Semi Finals. Got to play better if they want to win a Gold Medal.

USA Women next play the winner of Israel and China and they should beat either of these two teams.

The other match up to reach the Gold Medal Women's Game is France vs Hungary.
