Article in todays Courant. He is now up to 240 lbs and fast. Photo looks nothing like his Rivals/Scout one. http://www.courant.com/sports/high-...ventry-football-0914-20120913,0,1816416.story maybe we got a local gem.
Sorry about that. It appears on the general Sports section of the Courant with the title of the article and not part of the article body itself. He looks much bigger, guessing the recruiting site photo is maybe 1-2 years old. The photo in the paper is different and is a better example.
Kid is gonna be a beast. I heard when he camped with UConn he didn't drop a ball. Representin' northeastern CT... he loved Addazio at Temple but I think he's got UConn in his heart. So glad he decided to come to UConn and look forward to the next generation of excellent UConn TE's.
He supposedly he had like 3 TD's this Friday night and 7 catches for 132 yards. He apparently also plays both ways and does all the kicking and punting. Go figure.
sounds like we have a gem on our hands local wise which is great! love what were doing this class TE wise.
Channel 30 did a piece on him. He didn't look that big but maybe he is. His dad played in the mid-80's at UConn and hyped UConn a lot to his son. His mom was a senior and played for Geno when Geno was in his first year.
Here's the link to the video NBC showed where they talk about Tommy, his parents, and UConn: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/video/#!/news/sports/Following-in-His-Parents--Footsteps/170525076
