Permit a visit from a poster from the women's board. Exceptional circumstance.
Last night after the UConn men won, Coach Ollie praised Boatright by stating that he showed that he had "the heart of a champion."
For the record, Kevin was not quoting my Boneyard signature line, which I have used for over ten years.
The origin of the entire quote (in blue, below) is unlikely. It reads like Lombardi but is credited to Rudy Tomjanovich when he coached the Houston Rockets.
I adopted it when Diana was providing inspirational leadership (and three NC's) to the UConn women's team. Just as Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier have done in recent years for the UConn men.
Now it is Ryan Boatright's turn.
We hope.
