Stef's triple double was an accomplishment that very few have realized. She is a product of our coaches coaching and development. She is a complete player, the complete package. We've had some great All American Big's, Rebecca, Kara, Tina to name a few and now Stef who came here raw and were developed beyond mosts expectations. We've had others who didn't make AA who are earning a living playing BB like Kaili and Jessica Moore.

Stef is in her senior year and if we look back to her first couple of games as a Husky and her first big game against Griner and look at what she has become as a player as a team mate and as a person it shows those who are considering UConn in the future, that this is what you can become with the coaches we have here at UConn. I look around WCBB and I don't see many bigs developed. I see kids coming in and trying to get by on what they have. You see if you are not changing, not willing to learn, not willing to make changes to become better by being developed then your losing your place in the rankings and your years a running out.

Kids will go where they want to go. UConns resume speaks for itself. Its all here... if you want it. It doesn't get any better then this. Opposing teams can say what they want. The can promise you what you want and tell you what you want to here, but at UConn there are no promises there are results. Talk is easy, telling you what you want to hear is easy however, accomplishments speak for themselves. So for those of you who have a dream of being something special in your life, accomplishing great things on and off the BB court then look for the path that has already been paved and you can reach your goals. Look at what Stef has accomplished, whats shes become and where shes going. That what its all about.

Well, Stef has always had the wonderful attitude to go with a strong amount of talent, and hopefully she'll have a reasonable amount of luck about her health now and in the years to come to let her reach max potential. You gotta love the passing skills that make her so dangerous and hopefully alleviate at least some of the debilitating banging that goes on for posts who spend all their time trying to muscle in for a lay up in the paint. Kaili before her used that high point passing ability to rack up many games with 5 assists, which was great for a second-line center.

That would make a great name for a pro wrestler; Big Yukon Biggs! He could come out in full lumberjack drag, carrying a double-bitted axe, with maybe a moose carcase over the other shoulder. He could mush down to the ring in a sled (with wheels, of course) pulled by a team of Huskies. Maybe it will happen; a lot of influential people read the Boneyard.
