A big thank you to the refs because that was a foul and not a tie up.

Yup. Looked like it had slipped away yet again but his 3 ball kept us alive.
Even if we lost it was our best looking game of the year and we were here all night. We learned to play with emotion tonight at the freakin hollow halls of XL!!! So much to take away. The assistants worked like a swarm of bees and if looked like gravity alone shook Kimani to run it out. Thought him was gonna take the reins but so good to see Luke run offensive plays and Tim the d with young sitting back. We have an ELITE staff. I’m feeling Calhoun spoke to Danny about trusting them. Head coaches are as much managers as they are delegators.

Agree to disagree. It looked like a tie up up front.
Cole literally put his arm over his neck to grab the ball but whatever. We won and that’s all that matters.

Polley is a shooter, a pure shooter. He’s been more erratic this year than you’d expect, but he and Hawkins have the best stroke on the tread. Martin and Cole are solid too, and Whaley has his moments.

But yes, that three by Polley brought us back from the dead.

Most clutch shot he hit in a UConn uniform, IMO. Hopefully it has a snowball effect and he hits more clutch shots. I don’t mean just at the end of close games, but shots that break up a scoring spurt by the other team or shots that can build a big back breaking lead

Amazing shot. Eerily similar to the dribble hand off Marcus Williams and Rashad Anderson ran against Washington to send that game to OT in the 06 tourney.
