Nova or Kansas winning a 4th title would really really suck. Unfortunately one of them is likely going to be playing in the title game

The announcers just mentioned that today is the 32nd anniversary of the damn Latener shot. Hard to believe that it has been that long.... I remember it like it was yesterday....

I thought Arizona was the weakest 1 seed, so I am not sure how much of this is Houston being good vs. Arizona being just "meh" for a 1 seed.
The 1 seeds in this tournament haven't exactly distinguished themselves. Baylor goes out in the second round. Gonzaga goes out in the Sweet 16. And now Arizona may be going out in the Sweet 16 also. Kansas up tomorrow?

It puts us in the horrible position of rooting for PeeCee tomorrow.

This is the 3rd straight round that Houston has looked dominant. Considering what the metrics said about them, it's definitely time we just start believing them.

Arizona has 3 excellent guards and Shead has looked better than all 3. Shead is what, their 5th best starter?

-Edit- Shead had like 3 turnovers against press immediately after I posted this lol.

Watching these games tonight makes me realize how far away our team actually was from level. Other than Nova/Michigan, those other teams absolutely destroy us tonight. This program has come so far last few years but it’s still has a depressingly far way to go and looking at the coaches advancing I don’t know if ours is capable like they are.

Best UConn player to never have a decent team around him.
100%. I always thought he played his heart out and balled. He got way too much criticism here on the Boneyard.

Really? I thought Gonzaga and Arkansas looked like arse. None of these teams look great.

We could have an all Final Four of teams we don't want to win the title: Duke, UNC/UCLA, Nova, Kansas. Yikes.

But he missed his FTs... Some things never change

Carlton's free throw motion is ridiculous. He is not even looking at the basket throughout the shot motion. The coaches had to have completely given up on his FT form to let him use that absurd motion.

So started both Sanogo and Carlton? You can't possibly be serious

If you want a better 3 point percentage, you should have two bigs on the court at the same time.

Maybe you don't like 3 pointers.

Imagine what Sampson will be able to do recruiting in the Big 12.
