I heard today that Darien vs New canaan will be at Boyle Stadium in Stamford, due to the impending snow storm for those in Fairfield county.

Class L New Canaan v Darien Boyle Stadium @ 11:05 AM Saturday
Class M St. Joe's v Brookfield CCSU-Arute Field @ 10:00 AM Saturday
Class S Ansonia v Woodland CCSU-Arute Field @ 7:05 Friday

Because of some crazy rule the season has to be over on/by Sunday or co-champions will be declared in any class game that hasn't been played. I know winter sports season starts, but I hate the fact they would even consider co0champions after all the hard work these programs have put in to get to this point.

Apparently if the game is a no-go on Thursday, Southington and Prep will be declared co-champs. CIAC also supposed to be looking at format changes to the schedule. It would be nice if the season started 2-3 weeks earlier. Thanksgiving is what throws a wrench into everything.

Are you sure nobody else pursued him? It's pretty tough to top what an Ivy degree brings you.

I remember hearing from a pretty reputable source that Oregon, Boston College, UConn, and a few B1G schools looked at him during his sophomore and junior seasons. Other than that I haven't heard anything about his recruitment other than Yale.

IMO it's a no-brainer. An Ivy degree will pay off the rest of your life. A tiny % of guys make it to the NFL and if you have the goods to make it, they'll find you. If you have the academics to draw interest from an Ivy it's hard to pass up. I also heard Barmore was drawing interest from several schools. Don't be fooled by the FCS status of the Ivy league schools. They have an immense draw.

Southington had too many big plays. That won the game. Great game. Nice passing QB for Southington. He can throw under pressure and also escape pressure.
