I just want to say that although this game was wicked stressful and not technically the best semi ever, it was a clean game. Both teams fought hard but not dirty. They played basketball. At least there is that.

Wow, another incredible win. Love the hustle, heart and guts of this team. This would have been a game earlier in the season that we would have lost, with our sloppiness in the 4th quarter. Three turnovers in a row. But we preserved and kept our composure. What a team. Keep on grinding.

Let‘s not miss the fact that Evina and Nika had 14 rebounds between them. In a game where every possession counted, having two guards pull down 14 boards was monumental in getting the ball in UConn’s hands and limiting second chance points for Stanford.

That fourth quarter was...well, it was a ride and a half.

The first eight minutes were about as close to excellence as UConn managed over the course of the game, building the lead to 8, though falling short of putting the game away completely.

The last two minutes? Bedlam, absolute bedlam. Mistakes one rarely sees from UConn one at a time, and UConn had at least three or four of them in that period. And yet also a series of ice cold hit free throws every time they were called for.

(takes a deep breath) Survive and advance. (takes another breath) Survive and advance.
