I spoke to soon but thats still my opinion of what our issue is this year and why we now won't be postseason bound.

I don't think anyone would disagree with what you said. This team isn't as good as the last two years and those teams were the equivalent of 6 or 7 seeds in a basketball tournament. That puts them on the edge of the bubble if things went well. One bad loss is enough to derail a season for a team like that, especially with a weak schedule like most northeast teams have. You basically have to have a stellar record to make the tournament which is tough when you don't have an insane weekend staff like Barnes/Nappo/Ward.

Oberg got a ground ball for the final out of the game and the 3B commits an error. And then an infield single? Not sure what it was exactly (bunt/slow roller etc.) as I am not listening but it doesn't exactly look like he's getting rocked out there.

When is the last time this team shutdown the other team right after they scored? Every time they score, they give the runs back the next half inning.
