These might be more for Hurley than a beat reporter, but these are on my mind:
Will the tempo be more similar to the pace we played in the beginning of last season or more like what we saw at the middle and end? Our first 10 games all went at least 72 possessions, but only 5 of the remaining 23 did. This was reported as a conscious change last January. Will we be going back to the original plan?
Will there be any modification of the defensive scheme to curb penetration or is it a matter of needing improved execution by the players (or perhaps the addition of new personnel will help)? Related question: Is the defensive foul rate a concern to the coaches or just a necessary outcome of the scheme?
