The Cuse hangs around for awhile, but then the game starts and UConn rolls 88 - 56.

Syracuse likes to play up tempo. Unless Quentin goes completely out of character both teams should have a lot of possessions this game. UConn is the more efficient team. 98 67 UConn for an MOV of 31 points.

The Orange want to run. They want to play with pace. They want to press and create a frantic pace. That plays right into UCONN's hands. I really can't see this being close at all unless UCONN completely loses their focus...

You will see Gabby, Napheesa and Katie Lou help bring the ball up the court to beat the Syracuse press. UConn knows what to do, and they will do it. 84-63

Like I said before...the ' cuse freshman doesn't go 7/14 on threes again (she normally shoots 28%). They have no inside game...and we do. 95-65 US!

ERIC: very interesting analysis. You know your stuff so would not be surprised to see things pan out this way. Sure hope so.

DC: I'll be dipped. Thought I was the only guy who looked at things in a manner that no one else on the Yard would agree with.
Gutsy call, but I get where you are coming from. Sure as hell hope you're wrong as I've always disliked Cuse basketball, all the way back to Boeheim's early days (though I've given it some grudging admiration for bottom line results vs methods).

CHRIS: another nice slant; good stuff.
